Please advise, is the vision keel a separate bolt on apendage or a permanent glassed in part of the boat? Secondly ,is the mast grounded to the keel?

Vision keel & mast

From my own boat I see that the keel is bolted and underneath is glassed in. The mast rests on the keel and has a pin that holds in place (along with a collar on the roof. Mast comes out very easely when the pin and collar are removed. Jean Hrab

Vision 32 Mast

Brian, The mast and Keel on my Vision 32 are attached together with a no. 6 copper wire.

The Vision has an external bolted on cast iron keel. It is grounded to the mast by a small gauge wire from one of the keel bolts. Noel
