Vision 32 Mast

I need to pull a NEW wire through the mast of my 1993 Vision 32. Does anyone have any experience with this ?

Snaked with an old stay

Not familiar with your boat but a few weeks back I rewired a 36' mast. Borrowed a snake (standard home depot type). It worked great, but I lost one 12v wire. I was too embarrased to go back and borrow it, but I saw an old forestay in the back of my truck. It had the perfect flex and stiffness. Worked better than the snake. You can unravel some of the wire and chineese handcuff the pulled wire to the stay.IslandJack

Use the old ones as a guide

I have often pondered what I would do if I needed to do this to my own Vision. My thoughts were to attach the new wire to the old an pull it through it. That is of course if the old wire is still there.The snake routine isn't going to work on the Vision. The V-32 has a mast height of 54' and the V-36 has a mast height of 61' Best of luck to you.
