Vision 32 electric winch

I have a 1989 Hunter vision 32 ft I am considering installing an electric winch for the main halyard etc I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has made this modification I am looking at a Lewmar 40 unit

Electric Winch

Having owned a V32 for nine years, I can understand why you would want one! Have you checked with Lewmar to see what they may have for a conversion? I have a powered Lewmar on my 40.5. My recollection is that they were an option on later V32's.

As another alternative, you may want to consider a powered handle. I had a friend who bought one and found it worked well on the halyard winch.
