Good Morning All
I have a 1991 Hunter Vision 32
The stainless steel railing stanchion at the bow has come apart from its attachment at the deck.
I am not sure what broke but I do not see any way to fix it.
Can anyone tell me how to "fix" it ?
Thanks
Richard

Busted Bow Pulpit

Richard, if I recall correctly, the bow pulpit terminates with a threaded stud which is through bolted. So, it should be a matter of finding those bolts under the hull/deck joint (and anchor locker) and getting them off. Then, it's just a simple welding. You should have plenty of sources in PV. If that's a bit much, as I recall, there is a good yard just down the channel from you who I'm sure could handle it. A photo would be terrific; we could give some better thoughts.

Richard, are talking about the actual bow pulpit breaking lose from the deck plate itself that's has through hull studs holding it down? Can you not have that welded back down without removing the plate? Of course, not everybody welds stainless steel but somebody should be able to do that.
