Has anyone tried (and succeeded) in installing a bow anchor mount for their Vision 32? I am new to the boat which has a 15 Kg Bruce. The previous owner installed an Armstrong (manual) windlass, but mounted the anchor on the rails. Not only is this a back breaker, but frequently results in knocking the steaming light cover off (a 30$ replacement). Problem of course is the limited space, because of the furler system....Ideas welcome!

I have a friend who did one on his. He had a stainless fabricator do what came out to look like a factory job. Also, see "The Boats" tab above. Go to the Vision 32 section. Look in the owner's photos section. You can see another. I would tend to hire a stainless fabricator rather than cobble it up with a home made attempt. Good luck, Rick D.
