vinyl registration numbers

I would like to find out the best method for removing existing vinyl boat registration numbers and letters from the Cat 30 hull. Has anyone had this expeience and found a good method? Thanks. John

Acetone

Peel and scrap first then follow with acetone. Mine left discoloration marks that eventually bleached out with the sun.

Before you scrape them, heat them up with a hair dryer...then scrape, then acetone to remove whatever is left.
