Looking to replace old sagging vinyl headliner. I do not want to go back with vinyl and would like to hear from people who have painted the hull, trimmed in wood, or whatever other solutions they found. Paint seems easiest but I wonder how it will look. I have already ripped out the headliner in every cabinet and installed wood ceiling strips. Looks great but I don't think I want to do that on the overhead.

Used a non woven material called "Hull Liner" that is installed with spray on contact adhesive. Installed about 5 years back and have been very pleased. Soooo much better than the original foamed back vinyl. Think it came from Jamestown Distributors. Used the old vinyl for a patern. Good luck.
