Operating my universal engine over 2000 rpm generates a vibration whith a frequency of about 1 hz. I have aligned the engine to the shaft but that didn't help. My next guess is an unbalanced prop or bent shaft. Either will require taking the boat out to check. Has anyone encounted this type of problem?

I had vibration over 2000 rpm also on my C30, M25xp engine. I did have shaft aligned, motor mounts tightened with no real success. Bad fuel apparently was the culprit. Water, etc. over the years made the fuel discolored & changing the filters showed this. I had the tanks & lines pumped and viola, no more vibration.
