Vibrating Tohatsu Outboard

I recently bought a new Tohatsu 9.9 long shaft, electric start outboard motor for my Hunter 25.5. The problem that I can't solve is that it vibrates from the minute it starts and continues while it is running at any speed. The motor mount doesn't seem to be over stressed and it has super power. Has anyone had similar problems with this model or Tohatsu OBs in general?

I have experienced some minor vibration in the low range of rpm, or when I have run the motor choked. I purchased my motor new from a motor shop where it was tested and fuel mix adjusted prior to commissioning. Possibly a mixture problem? Mark Major s/v Lesismor 86H23
