VHF antenna thru-hull connector location

Hi!
I'm looking to install my VHF antenna on the mast... however can't find a way to reach between the deck and inner covering to install the connector... any ideas how and where install the thru-hull antenna connector? Just want to have the cable hidden inside..

Mine is just inches from the mast step. You may need to create an access panel in the cabin liner next to the compression post.

An electrican's fish would allow you to draw the coaix from the radio to the mast between the cabin liner and the exterior cabin shell.
