Some here may spend little time over on the other forum, so for those lurkers looking for a little cruising fun during these cold winter nights, feast your bleary eyes on one of my latest adventures.

And if that was insufficient fill time, here is a bit more.

Regarding the first video and the refineries...The trains are carrying crude to the refineries. Little to no finish product is transported by rail. Most if not all marine traffic is crude except for some barge traffic. Finish product is transported via pipeline and highway. We do get crude from Canada via a dedicated pipline from the north but the one that goes from the most northern refinery to Portland Oregon is finished product. Hope that helps.

It's always wonderful to see the eagles, and of course, the unmistakable sound of the PNW rain. Just like tonight!

Hi Ken, no plan to speak of. Some discussion and ideas about going around Vancouver Island, but no plan at the moment. Of course nothing much happens without a plan, but with our little flotilla, we never made plans until skipper’s night, the night before. Skipper’s night was every night and it was after much discussion and libation, whether we would remain where we were for another night, or head to the next anchorage a few miles away.
