I recently did the hull sides of my C27 with Vertglas and it turned out great. I would like to use it topsides, but wonder if it would turn the nonskid slippery. Also, does Vertglas turn yellow after a few seasons? Many thanks.

Hi Bob, I've used vertglas for over 5 years and love it. I'm not sure it turns yellow, but it does wear off over time, so that's why you should keep it up by putting on a couple of maintenance coats each year. I compound any dark or dirty areas that remain after washing, and then add a few coats. I would not vertglass your decks, they would become too slippery. it's called non-skid for a reason!
