Peggy,Am in the planning stages of the dreaded replacement of the 12 year old alum holding tank in my Hunter 37.5. Needless to say, tank and all hoses will be replaced. One small concept or modification still lurks...ventilation????Read someplace a while ago that it is supposed to be beneficial to have two vents on a holding tank? If that is so, then at tank change, this would be a very good time to accomplsh that little chore??? Am I right in assuming that the vent lines should be attached on opposite sides of the tank? Not having seriously crawled back into the dungeon of the tank location yet, I am assuming for the moment that the two vent lines can exit the hull in close proximity to each other, which is thru the hull just under the deck pumpout fitting??Would appreciate your thoughts.Thanks,Steves/v Sun Runner
