lid raises in cockpit to the storage compartmentent area under starboard half of cockpit. That was the area designed in 1976 to store fuel. PO stored his there. I want to vent the area, but if I install a fan should I open the lid for awhile before I turn fan on. I can't see how it would be feasible to install an air scoop. I could put fan intake and an exhaust vent on cockpit wall or I could install windows that open in. I won't spend time in cabin with the fuel in there. how about making a tray that is inserted into the hatch under the lid and sealed with gaskets but still removeable. I will seal the bulkhead common to the cabin area regardless. lotta a thinking to do here. thanx,gene
