PeggyIf you don't get paid for answering all these incessant ramblings from us weekend warriors, you certainly should!
Tom and I are almost finished with our "refit" of the head/holding tank system hoses and valves. By the way, the current price at West Marine for the SeaLand Odorsafe is $7.99 a foot. Geez!Anyway, I have one final (??) question: Why, if I am spending $100 or so on non-permeating waste hose do I have a little air vent on the vented loop that is at the top of the direct-overboard discharge line? Is that "vent" supposed to be vented via a hose to outside (it sure seems like it to me!)? Or how about I just plug the sucker and take my chances when the boat heels!
If the vent does need to go outside, how best to accomplish such a venting? Specifically, how do I attach hose to vent on the loop, and what type of hose and all that? Thanks again,Ron Vanderveer
