Hi gyus. May be someone have one of those two mushrooms vents original Vega has aft which you don't use. Would be glad to buy it. I have just crushed one of mine yesterday.

Think about one of those nice solar powered vents, which have a ni-cad battery and work even after the sun has set. Very effective and an easy install. I have 2.

Hi Steve,

Is it possible to get the vents in stainless? I have now trodden on both mine and don't really want to replace them with more plastic ones!
On a separate subject, and at the risk of raisiOnng a hoary old topic, I plan on replacing the forestay plate/bow roller this year. Before I go to the expense of getting one made one-off, is there a stronger fitting which I can get off the shelf?

On a separate, separate subject, should I be considering replacing the chainplate U bolts? The existing ones look as if they are the original 1973 fittings. There is no sign of movement between the bolts and the deck.
