Hi there,Why would you vent the water tank? It is a small tube above the fill tube…but it is right on the bottom of the tank 2” above the bottom. Once the water fills above this small tube, it sucks water not air. I can’t see how this works, maybe if there was a hard tube inside the tank running to the bottom side of the tank at the top…I could see how it would work. John, I was sure that water leaked from the big red screw on cap on the water tank in wild conditions. There was water in the recess it sits in, and I could not think of any other way it could have got there. I sealed it with something that was supposed to stay flexible. I can\'t say I noticed a significant improvement subsequently, but I felt better about it. I suspect most of my water in the forepeak in livly conditions came through the hull/deck join, but I don\'t want to go there. One day....
