After lots of helpful dialog in this forum, I'm putting the finishing touches on a new custom moulded holding tank for my 1987 Hunter 40 sailboat. The new tank has a 1" FPT vent on the inboard side. I've got 1" white sanitation hose for the vent and have or can get all of the fittings to pipe it to the existing vent which is high on the hull, just below the toe rail. The old tank had a 3/4" vent line that terminated with a 3/4" barb then 1/2" pipe threads to a Perko 503 vent. I spent some time with a good parts manager looking for a larger vent than the Perko 503 and could not find one. What vent should I use on the outside of the hull? Where can I get it?

Use a plain ol' bulkhead fitting...
