Vendee Globe 2016

My friend Bruce was the first American to complete the Vendee so yes I do pay attention to it.... In fact I think he still holds the record as the fastest American around the world solo, in 109 days...
If folks only knew what went into making that race even doable they would be astounded. The race is only the half of it... Like anything the design, build, planning & prep is the rest...
I will be cheering for Rich and all the great work the guys down the street at Maine Yacht Center have done to ready Great American IV for the Vendee!
Oh and Bruce has also had a hand in this years Vendee supplying a lot of the electrical upgrades to GA IV including the Genasun LiFePO4 bank, Solbian solar panels, the Watt & Sea hydro-generators and more...
