Hmm, looks good. I didn't see a mode for it to automatically switch display of speed and heading, do you have to keep pressing the button? I like the logger, and the tack feature (I'm stealing that - heh-heh). I'm sure you can plot your data right in Google Earth. Display seems to have good contrast too, might be one of those new Sharp memory displays (ultra-low power). I imagine mA mostly drawn by GPS receiver and CPU (I hate when they don't spec the operating mA). The awesome accuracy is derived from measuring the Doppler shift of the satellite transmit frequency using phase-lock-loop. Here's a paper that presents an overview ...
