On my Vega I've noticed the aft bulkheads have large air gaps at the
top, allowing air to flow freely between the cockpit lockers and the
cabin.
Is this a common trait to all Vegas? I'm assuming it was done to help
air circulate. Has anyone any comments on this?
Thanks!

I depends on what you mean by a 'large' gap? on Spring Fever, there's perhaps 1/2 - 3/4" gap. They certainly shouldn't be a tight fit, as this would result in a "hard-spot" on the deck/hull where it abuts and lead to crazing of the gel-coat at best and possibly cracking of the laminate.

Thanks for the reply, Bob. Yes, my gaps are about 3/4", so I guess
this is normal.
