Attention all Vegans

My boat the Casual Observer also needed an electric fuel pump.
I have been following your emails earlier today. I called FACET
Enterprises INC. Automotive Components Marketing, Elmira, New York,
14903. (607) 737-8011 or (607) 737-8202. Mr. Rich Rollins. FACET
makes a Universal Kit NAPA P/N-6101051. It includes the 40105 Pump,
Clamps, and Hose. Mine cost 31.99 + TAX. I thought this was great
news and I wanted to share it with you.

Hi All

Glad it is cheaper in the US, perhaps I could buy a few there and get them sent to the UK. Do you know if this guy has an email address?

I called the Napa auto parts store in my town in North Carolina with the part number David Fuchs gave me (6101051) and they have the pump readily available on their shelf.
$31.95 US plus tax. 6.5% .

Seems to be the same pump, I use on my Westerbeke 13, I went to a NAPA store and told them I needed a small 12VDC electric pump to replace the original Westerbeke pump that had rusted through. Westerbeke wanted close to $300.00 for a replacement!!! The NAPA model cost about $40.00 five years ago. I haven't had any problems with it. (not even rust)John Starace giani28582@... wrote:

PS I may be coming over to Florida this year for one or two weeks holiday
as my
friend has now completed the purchase of a house in Florida. The kids will go
to Disney etc and I will bum a sail from any Vega owner willing to put up with
me!
