I must sell my Vega. We are in need of another
car due to two auto accidents, which were not our fault--persons ran
into us!
If you can furnish Email Addresses , I would appreciate your
kindness, or other means of getting word out to those who want a
good solid, well kept Vega. The boat is at "Sheltered Harbor
Marina", Dundalk, Maryland . I would prefer to use the internet for
most data exchange. Interested persons can get me at :
VICNKD@... or 610-799-4780. The boat was repainted and
overhauled in May 1992, several stuctural beef-ups were accomplished
such as installing 2 additional cockpit drains, replacing the teak
around the companionway with wider and thicker pieces, new
washboards made out of Brazillian Mahogany, reinforcement of
the "sprayhood", new teak seats/covers for cockpit locker access.
reinforcement of the lower section of stern to 16" above waterline--
incase of rear collision. New Head, Signet Depthsounder, Signet
Knotlog, Standby Compass installed on main strbrd. bulkhead,
installed flange on port side-under the cockpit floor to anchor
plywood support for portside seat-bolted together. New Running
lights 1997, new running rigging and oversized mainsheet vang 1995.
Many spares for MD6A Deisel engine with reversing gearbox and fixed
pitch prop-new 2001.
