This is a good question. :p I know that the 2nd edition of "The
Proper Yacht" has the linesplan and sailplan in it, and I'd really
love to get a hold of a clean version of the linesplan, deck plan and
sailplan, if anyone has 'em.

Hi Jonathan,
Check out the files section folder called "Vega Lines Plans". I've
added 3 drawings that will print out quite clearly.
Meanwhile, I'm still looking for that other drawing ... I know it's
somewhere out there!

I'm 2000 miles from it so I can't check; but doesn't the Owners Handbook (The white A4 sized booklet) have a line drawing in it? If so someone should be able to scan it and post it on here.

...More I think about it, more I think that "The Proper Yacht, 2nd Ed"
also contains that particular drawing. I came across a copy at a used
book store in Nanaimo this summer, but stupidly didn't buy it - and
Russell Books only has the 1st Edition.

If one could get a clean scan of the book, it wouldn't be hard to
photoshop the extra junk out, and wind up with just the base drawing.

I'll keep my eyes open too. :)

I know its 'old technology' but have you considered: copy the drawing from the handbook, tip-ex out the annotations that you don't want and then re-copy/scan the 'clean' drawing.
