Vega delamination

No delamination anywhere with my 1968 Vega. I cut some holes in the
hull for new thru hulls and filled alot of holes too with
epoxy/glass............very solid glass.

I'd love to sail to Holland. I used to live there as a kid and have
very fond memories of the place.

I have had the impression that the laminate construction is of high
quality in Vegas, indicated e.g. by the fact that there are so many
still around and 'in full bloom'.. of course you can do any harm by
negligence and bad maintenance. I only noticed the other day some
crackling sound in the front cabin floor, and the cockpit floor has
become soft at the rear end. No sign of more widespread problems,
though, but makes you wonder for a second..
