Dear Vega group members,
I know I'll sound like the typical sourpuss "netiquetter" (and I'm not
even the moderator/owner of this list), but I'd like to make one
suggestion: If you have a personal message to just ONE member of the
group (e.g. an order from Stephen, or a private appointment), would you
please consider making it OFF the list? All you have to do is to click
on the abbreviated email shown in your browser (e.g., steve@a...). Of
course, this is in no way intended to distract from the great service
that Stephen provides to us Vega owners hunting for equipment. But if
you follow this suggestion, those of us who have slow browsers/internet
connections ("56"k is still slow with the heavy advertising on Yahoo)
don't have to wade through long strings of messages like "send me one
too!" to get to the interesting stuff. Of course, it is up to the
judgement of everybody whether a question may have universal interest
(like prices for Vega spare parts or books) or really is just a
personal transaction between 2 members of the group.
And while I'm at it: Why does everybody always quote everybody else in
their response? It is easy to to delete the message you are responding
to from the "post message" edit window, and again it helps loading AND
reading these messages faster!
