With pouting lip and quivering chin, I'm announcing that "Nossa" (formerly Brian Hofler's "Lyra") is for sale.
She's a great, clean boat - a warm little sweetie, with a heart-warming little heater - allowing us to travel with comfort and confidence from Juan de Fuca Strait to Queen Charlotte Strait - the full length of Vancouver Island. She giggled her way through some of the world's most notorious tides, rips and winds.
She is available to view at Ford Cove on Hornby Island in the Georgia Strait (BC).
I will post a link to some sort of website for pictures and details. Maintenance is up to date, including bottom paint and zinc in June, and the engine (0-22) runs sweet, clean and quiet. The variable pitch prop transmission was re-built (2010) including a new bearing.
It comes with a blessing of a complete second engine, for spare parts.
She is offered at $13,500.00 Canadian. She is registered in Alberta, so BC taxation issues may not be a problem.
I EXPECT THAT MY LIFE WILL BECOME ENTANGLED WITH BIGGER BOATS, BUT I'LL NEVER SEE A BETTER BOAT THAN MY LITTLE VEGA.
