Does it seem to you that posts roll off of this forum sooner than the others? Seems that we just had the vanity sink thread going but it is already in the archives.Anyway I made a startling discovery today. Most of you H37C owners probably already knew this. When I took the teak trim off from the front of the vanity sink there was NO separation. In other words the sink is molded as part of the inner liner! You can see a ragged edge on the left. At the front and on the right you see a continuation of the fiberglass, right down to the bottom of the boat. The shelf behind the mirror is the same piece of fiberglass as the sink top. And I thought I was going to take home the sink today! Now what?I think that I am going to cut away part of the bowl and just set something right over it. That something could be 1/4" plywood covered with Formica with a drop in bowl. Or I could get a marble-like countertop, either with a drop in bowl or a molded one. But I am not going to try to repair this one.
