That should be a common ball valve. I suspect that your boat was French built so the valves are possibly European manufacture. They are bronze and should be available from a local source. If the boat was built in the US the valves are likely to be Globe brand or similar.

Mon Dieu! Get yourself a stout bronze thru-hull and ball-valve replacement for that plastic thingy. Commonly available, but you will likely have to haul the boat to install.

It is built in France, see photo of the valve below.
If that is your holding tank discharge with the valve, what is that small hose beneath it that does not have a valve? I've seen pic of your valve, but can not find a source, but then again, i assume your sources over there are not the same as ours. Yeah, go with a good BALL valve. You might hvave to put a curved elbow on it, though.

The small hose is the water intake for the toilet. There is a valve there, you can see it if you zoom in. It is in open position on the picture.

So, then, your head intake water line is right below the hose that dumps the holding tank? That does not sound like a good idea to me. It IS a good idea, though, to re-plumb the head intake so it draws from your head sink drain- and solve two problem at once.

That looks like a Forespar Marelon valve, ABS, AYBC and Lloyds-approved for below-water line through-hull use. I've seen them used on US$500k boats. Good stuff.

Jackdaw reminded me I got a new catalog at the boat show for Marelon fittings. I find the "barrel" is no longer side-ways to the thru-hull, but is in line with it. Part number 933356 if you just need it to thread on to the thru-hull, or 931156 with thru-hull. Both #s are for 1.5 inch 38mm.

This is a Marelon 90 deg waste valve, but you will notice like other Marelon valves it is bolted together. The pictured valve doesn't look like any Marelon valve I have ever seen.
