Hi, Just wondering what item for the sailboat you got your Significant Other, (politicaly correct), for Valentines Day? I got mine a new Honda 8hp extra long shaft electric start. After all, she is the love of my life, my wife not the sailboat, and she is worth it. I am very fond of my 26S also. Happy Valentines Day, Chuck

I got mine a ring that she liked in a Jewelry store at the marina, nothing with anchors or dolphins just a nice subtle positive association with sailing. As for the boat I've been leaving the WS coupon book on the floor next to the toilet, opened to their VHS transceivers. She finally asked me this morning if this is what I want, heh, heh, heh... I gave her the boat for valentines day last year ;D
She wanted a lobster, we lost a net off the pier, she said I could get a boat to catch a lobster, it had to be red, cost less than $800, had to be cute and I had to get it before valentines day, looked in craigslist and there it was. Of course I had to get a motor, and new halyards, and $$$... Still haven't caught that lobster though, I am trying, the new scuba gear helps, I need a new stern light now...maybe a dinghy, hmm, think I'd better take her out to dinner. Tim

Took everyone's advice. Tonight I took my wonderful wife to the local tavern for a beer and half price appetizers. She was impressed! I also gave her a gift of a four week sailing trip in the San Juan and Gulf Islands. She is realy excited. Should of got the 26S sooner. Happy Valentine's Day, Chuck-- 72 plus young.
