V265 Vinfalle

Thanks for all the opinions (both for and against) for what to do
with Vinfalle. Greatly appreciated are the hints, tips, tricks on
how to go about repairs. I've decided not to decide and let time and
fate decide. The storage bill has already been paid until March. So
I plan to lower the mast, tent her up with de-humidifier, scrape/sand
the bottom paint, and drill a few drain holes for the keel. The
above should be minimual costs, just mainly man power. I will let
her dry out until Spring. If the hull seems to be drying out well,
and I still have the energy and enthusiasm for the project, after the
above work is done, then I will consider taking the next step.
Meanwhile, I'll be keeping an eye out in the magazines, web sites,
etc. for other Vegas.

Hi John;
what a coincident- I own V-257.... and I own her for over 30 years.
She's a great boat- though I must admit, I always took good care of her.
The only change I ever made was to install a new engine- a Yanmar
10 hp, and I made a good choice- that engine is great as well.
Anyway- good luck with your V-265
Wilhelm
