after my last outing in my c22 i noticed a leak in the v-berth compartment (about a quart). i have a thru-hull knotmeter paddle wheel set up there and the connection is smothered in either 3M 5200 or 4200 adhesive/sealant. i suspect the leak is probably from there (after reading other postings throughout the web). question: should i just go ahead and smear more adhesive/sealant from within the boat and perhaps also outside the hull (i trailer my c22)?? any/all replies appreciated. thanx.
