I have fasteners along the top edge of my hull liner fabric in my v-berth. I can't tell if these were factory installed or if a previous owner put hem there to hang storage bags? In a 2009 magazine review of the 26, I noted the same twist fasteners and storage bags. Anyone else got 'em?

Yup. We have the bags that came with the boat. They have several different size pockets in them.

Yes- I have the storage purses with different sized pouches that hang on twist fasteners in the V-berth in my 1987 Oday 222. I understand that this storage item was not standard, but was offered by Oday as an optional additional purchase.

Thanks for the pictures and for all the responses. I called Rudy at D&R and he remembers those bags as being offered on Anniversary Edition of the 26. It is interesting to see it was an option on a number of boats. Looks like I may need to by that $88 Brother sewing machine after all since our boat is all set up for the bags. It makes sense to use light weight fabric. In addition to handles, I think I'll be sure to create a closure system so stuff doesn't spill out of the bags in the marina cart. It's been 26 years since I made a pattern for my son's Gortex overalls and sewed them up. This should be an easier project. I'll post photos if I get to it this winter.

They were optional on at least the 26, 192, 222, and 272.

They had carrying handles so that when removed from the boat, they were easy to carry. Too bad they aren't still available somewhere.
I'm getting lots of storage ideas from those pictures.
