V-Berth Extension

There is a review by an H30 1989 owner published here. The owner mentioned he added a V-berth Extension board to his H-30. I e-mailed him for a picture. So far, he has not replied yet. Can any of you help publishing a picture of how that is done?Thanks a lotFrank

Vee berth

Our Hunter 280 has an extension on the vee berth.It is a hinged board that lays under the cushions at the aft end of the berth.To use,we just lift the cushions and swing it out,it extends aft a short distance. Hope this helps. Fair winds ~~Pete

V-berth

My 30T also has a board that is 6 inches at the most which folds down out of the way to give more standing room with the doors closed. With it in the up position, it locks into place and fills the void (extends the berth). There is a small cushion which you place there to fill in the mattress. If you extended the berth any further aft, it would obstruct the doors on the hanging locker and the shelf area.
