Thank you Steve and Peter for your help. I also have the problem with
fuel odor. I was pulling the boat on the trailer for almost 500 miles
and I wonder if that has anything to do with it. The fuel tank looks ok but the top cover is just litle wet. Maybe I need to pull the tank out. Regards to all. Mark

As a new Vega owner have few more questions. 1. where could I purchase MD6A oil filter?
2.I will replace fuel tank (remove old one from the bilge and put new one in the port side). Again, any suggestion which fuel tank to buy for the port side installation. I'm in New York state.
Can't wait to put the boat in the water.
