Hello everyone I went down to do some work on my boat yesterday. I have it stored at the Milwaukee Community Sailing Center which is located in Veterans Park downtown Milwaukee. Much to my surprise inside the park I was greeted by a Milwaukee SWAT sheriff and MP's I had to show my ID to get to my boat it turns out the USS FREEDOM is docked at Veterans Park it is quite an impressive boat it is getting comissioned Saturday. I was talking to one of the boats officers I asked what type of engine it has he says it has two diesel jet engines with 50000 HP each it is capable of 40 knots. It also has a 13 foot draft which is very shallow for that type of boat. www.ussfreedom.org
