You might be able to find a few used sails out there, and the pictures might look fine, but you might very well be disappointed with them when they arrive. You may find that you will be much better off and money ahead in the long run if you look for a new main. The best price I found was at The Sail Wharehouse.
Dave another suggestion might be to have them reconditioned. A number of people on the forum have recommended Sail Care (see link) so I sent mine in and they were able to recondition them. Mine look like new. If the sails cannot be reconditioned (and they WILL tell you if they are beyond reconditioning)then all you would be out is the shipping to have Sail Care look at them. Heck, its worth a try. I have a '94 23.5 and they reconditioned my main and head including minor repairs for $325. It's a lot cheaper if you can defer that cost for a few more years.Good luckJonathan CostelloHeeling Powers
