I hope this post isn't in violation of the rules...I'm not offering anything for sale here, but am rather trying to get a general idea about how much a couple of jibs would be worth.
My grandfather gave me a couple of his extra jibs from his '78 O'Day 28 to cut down for use on my MacGregor 25 or sell for the money to buy the proper sails. Well, both of these jibs are in good condition, and I didn't have the heart to cut them up, so I found other sails for the Mac and saved these.
One is a storm jib, and the other is a larger jib (can't remember if it's a genoa or not...). Is there any kind of guide out there to help someone set a price on a used sail? Is there even much of a market for used sails on the bigger boats?
