I have just begun racing. My sails are not in good shape. My mailsail is flabby, saggy and has holes. My 150 (Genoa) is as soft as Kleenex tissue. Both of these need to be replaced. I am looking for some hardly used sails. Can you help me? My resources are somewhat limited--I am a teacher. Thank you.

Pete's right about sailcare, the process

as they clearly will tell you, will definitely NOT make your sails less baggy or improve their shape. There are many used sail lofts, and many new lofts will sell used sails, too. Google "used sails" and you''ll find each one of them. Then the issue becomes: local or national. As I've noted in other sail source discussions, best price is national lofts, best satisfaction is local (at least for new sails), but rarely both.
