I have been contacted by a gentleman who says he is in Germany and has used Cherubini Hunter parts for sale at pretty good prices. Has anyone had dealings with a man named Jerry Floyd from that area? I would like to do business with him but would like a positive reference first.

I would put it to the test by buying something small, and see if he delivers; if not, you lose little
What are you looking for?
I know of a salvage yard (I keep it a secret) where there is a Hunter 33, which I have scavenged, but there are still other parts.
They have many other sailboats, including a Hunter 30. Lots of good winches and stuff

Would love to email you off line, Jorge. I am looking for a forward hatch support [port side]. I have an 86 Hunter 31. I am also looking for a rigid boom vang I can adapt for it. Could use knobs for the portholes. Thanks.

He sent me a message too stating he had a good used spinnaker for our h240. I deleted it faster than you can imagine. NEVER EVER send money overseas unless you have too much laying around. If that's the case, I'll take some off your hands and send you the same as this guy will, Nothing:)

You can pay him with Paypal and if he doesn't deliver they will recover for you. As suggested I would start with something small. You can also check him out via Earthlink. I did that recently when looking at some Amish furniture online. The address turned out to be a little shack in the middle of nowhere. Great looking website though. What is his address? Now you've got me curious.

I wouldn't send him a bent penny. These people are just fishing for whatever they can get. Paypal MAY be able to reimburse you but why take the chance. This guy is probably casting a baited hook out to anyone that has a "Wanted" ad on this site. There are 7 other wanted ads besides the ones we have posted. Contact them through a pm and I bet they had same offers from this "Jerry Floyd".

It probably is a Hunter 31, and I know it has good portholes, complete with dogs and all
You can e-mail me directly and I will take stock of what parts are in good shape and let you know
Next week I am getting a full Hunter 36 (not sure what year, was supposed to have arrived) and there will be good parts from that boat also
