Anyone, I've just bought a 1993 Hunter Legend 37.5. Need to find information in regards to the use of jumpers for the mast. The boat originally came with them but previous owner disassembled it, said it gave him a lot of trouble with lines when using spy. And reviewing photos on the internet, I don't see Hunters 37.5 using it. Can anyone help me with this topic? Thanks a lot. Johnny

OK I'll be the first

I have a 37.5 Legend and have no idea what you are talking about. Jumpers? What are they used for? Where do they run from/to?

traditional definition

Jumper Stay - A short stay supporting the top forward portion of the mast. The stay runs from the top of the mast forward over a short jumper strut, then down to the mast, usually at the level of the spreaders. I'd be surprised if the 37.5 was originally rigged as such

also a 37.5 Legend owner

We have a 1992 37.5 and we know two other owners in this area and none have the Jumper stays and there are now signs of them ever being mounted on the mast. When we were looking to buy this boat, several years ago, we were on three other 37.5 Legends and none of them had this setup either. Try contacting Hunter and ask them.
