Urgernt! - Should I be able to rotate the MD6 exhaust?

I have found the answer -NO! I started the engine and loads of black smoke came out - looks like I am fooked...

Hi John

No! Should be fixed. Try not to turn too much as it will shear off teh join to the steel cooling tubes surrounding the exhaust tube.

Hi all,
picture here... https://flic.kr/p/cKQsm1 I have discovered that if I grasp the fat rubber bit I can rotate the whole exhaust system about 10 degrees? Is this normal?
