Canvas and Uphoulstry

This season is our fabric season. We had all new canvas made, dodger and sail covers. On the dodger I had a full cover made instead of the usual snap-on window covers. The cost was a push (more fabric, less labor)and it should extend the life of my dodger significantly. In our Sacramento Valley heat, an unprotected dodger top really takes a beating. We also are in the process of re-covering our cushions (we replaced the foam a couple of years ago). We're doing it ourselves and it's coming along pretty well albeit a little slow.

NEW BOAT!

I was blessed with a wonderful opportunity to move up from my beloved O'DAY 25 to a 30. While the boat was in excellent condition, it didn't take long for the "B.O.A.T." syndrome to appear - and I've been re-newing both the bosts' systems - namely a new holding tank & hoses - and on-deck cosmetics - namely a new UV cover for the jib, & new winch, instrument, & compass covers, a new name, new docklines & fenders, & cockpit speakers. I could go on - but I'm already in the doghouse with my WW!
