Chuck, Good article on cordage. I didn't realize when you add up all
the running rigging it uses most of a 600' spool.

Speaking of folding bikes, check out Downtube Folding Bikes with suspension & carbon belt drives
Last year I bought a folder from them (on sale) that came with front
suspension, carry rack, 9-speeds, and a carry bag. It's all aluminum,
rides very well, and fits in the "V" berth.
