Just had an exmail exchange with a site user who was having a problem viewing photos on our sites. He disabled a popup killer called AdSubtract Pro... problem solved. If you are experiencing problems and are running ad filtering software, disable the software and see if photos will load properly. Please let me know if they do! Meanwhile, I'll contact the software developer and see if I can get some insight into why this happens.
