959C is a 1961 Zephyr yawl, built at Halmatic. She was originally named Raven, later Dundee, Brabant, and Foolish Things. She is now named ZEPHYRANTHES, the formal name of the rain lily, after the youngest of our four children, Lily, who loves to sail. We bought her in 2013 and the following year took the hull and decks down to the original gelcoat, finding that she originally had a black hull and cream decks. We re-glassed both hull and decks, painting them dark green with white, respectively (see attached photo). She is currently moored at our house on Moores Island (Kittery Point, ME).
Iain, I would be grateful if you could update the entry on the "Alden Fiberglass Boats" list.
