Well, I've finally been able to work on my 222 the last couple weekends. I was making really good progress on it about 6-9 months ago, but had to put everything on hold to work on our FROG to get it ready to move my son up there. That included adding a bathroom and building a closet. The reason we were moving him up there was because we now have a 4 month old daughter. So, we've had a few excuses. Anyway, I've FINALLY finished sanding the bottom of the boat down to gelcoat. It had an epoxy barrier coat under several layers of bottom paint. I would have left the barrier coat, but it was covering some poorly repaired and prepped spots all over the bottom. I'm thinking someone did some blister repair at one time. All I have to do before repairing and repainting is grind out a few more spots (some of the improperly repaired divots). Just another couple hours and I think I will officially be at the point of putting stuff onto the boat instead of taking it off!
