I believe we have the actual problem temporarily fixed. The block is V shaped (although the "V" is very shallow). There seemed to be too much space along the sides of the block with the mounting area of the mast..so we shimmed it, putting a nylon disk along each side of the block closing up the excess space. It works fine for now. The wire cannot jam up because there is no place for it to do so. Thank you. Benita
