After installing a new Garhauer rigid boom vang I needed to remove the dreaded topping lift. It took almost 15 minutes to crawl up the mast but I finally got there. Coming down was easier but I sure had to hug that mast tigh to keep from slipping too fast! Not bad in 25 kt winds!
