Up-grade a Yanmar 2GM20F

I have heard that the current Ynamar 2GM20F engine has 20% more power than my 1988 model. Is this true and if so, is their a pratical way to boost power in an older engine? Frank

Don't think so.

Check the Related Link and text for each of the 2GM engines. Looks like 15hp until 1983 and 18hp since then. Or call Torresen for the straight skinny.
